ScratchPutter Day 2027 (Suggested Budget £10.40 to £52.00)

ScratchPutter, which was first played at Royston Golf Club in North Hertfordshire, can be played anywhere where there is a suitable putting green, such as that at Royal Blackheath, in London.

It cannot be played on relatively flat putting greens, such as that at Sudbury Golf Club, near Wembley, or on any putting green that is not large enough to easily accommodate 9 holes of play.

Smart/casual or golfing attire, with suitable footwear, such as flat-soled trainers, when on the Putting Green. 

In the Clubhouse, clean shoes or other suitable footwear is required for entry to the Lounge Bar. (There is no need for Gentlemen to wear jackets or ties on ScratchPutter Day.)

Those who come by car may like to park close to The Heath Cafe https://www.roystonheath.co.uk/, on the edge of Therfield Heath Nature Reserve. 

Royston Golf Club is only a few minutes walk from Royston town centre and even closer to The Heath Cafe, and about 5 minutes away from Royston Station, from where Cambridge is under 20 minutes away on a fast train.
